would you outdoor wicker chairs if exposed to weather in fla?
Not sure if the paint will chip and peel if rain and sun beats on it. the wicker looks old as is, just not sure that it amy make it look worse. works on inside wicker well, tho!

You can spray a layer of clear coating to protect the finish. Some even have UV protection. You may have to repeat this process once every year or two, but it should be fine.
