depends on what type of pests you are talking about... it can start by buying quality product, not necessarily the cheapest. Some of the imported stuff from the far east will have a wood borer already inside the wicker and it can take over a year before they turn into the adult and emerge from the wicke, all this time it has been eating the inside of the wicker. Keep it well coated with a stain or paint, not all pest come in animal form. You will want to keep mold and fungi of the furniture. For the cushions to help keep the rodents from chewing them, spray occasionally with a repellent, Ropel works best. For birds, you may just drape cloth or plastic over the furniture when not in uses. For spiders the web under the furniture, occasionally flip the furniture over and treat the underside with an insecticide.
He may not be able to CATCH the pests, but he certainly will keep them off the patio! Alternatively; .... "where is the best sale on outdoor patio wicker furniture" ...The Big Bad Wolf or the Boogieman was called something else in my childhood: The Urban Reform. ... will keep us from continuing to say and feel that this is Karina's Patio. ...
