Diaper storage solutions?
I'm 34 weeks pregnant with #1 and I recently had my baby shower where I received 2 "diaper cakes" (diapers are rolled up and fashioned to look like a 3-tier cake). Previous to this, I hadn't thought about diapers or storage (haha, I know) but now I want to disassemble these gifts and store the diapers. I don't really want to just stack them because they'll just fall over and I don't have the bags they came in to shove them into. What do you use in your nursery for diaper storage? My mom wants me to get some wicker baskets for them and I've also seen those hanging diaper bags but I'm not in love with either of these ideas. Do you have a great organizational tool you can recommend? I'd like it to be something that is easily accessible but looks nice too. Thanks in advance for your ideas!

They have the diaper stackers that hang! You can hang them wherever you want. Usually on the diaper changer thing. You can get them to match the nursery.
if ur crib has a drawr under it put them there or i got some plastic drawrs and put them under the crib and wilth the skirt u cant see them and they are out of the way
We do the cute wicker basket thing. and the ones still in bags are stuffed under the crib and out of sight..LOL
For my changing area I do use a diaper stacker hanging up high for easy access to diapers during changing, but I keep the rest of the open diapers we got a set of drawers to keep all of the diaper creams, wipes refills, diaper genie refills and so on.
We got super cute/modern wicker baskets from Target. I love them. They fit nicely on her shelf of the diaper changing table. But, we don't really used them anymore. We just pile them on one of her shelves and keep the excess in the closet. I worried a lot about finding something cute, but honestly, it doesnt' really matter once the baby gets there. You just end up with them stacked all over your house for easy access sometimes!!
we have matching canvas bins under our change table, and that's where we put out extras when we open a new box; we have a diaper depot that hangs on the side and we just refill it from the bin when it gets low.....and the bins hold so much else! if u have a table, they are great for storing so many diff things related to baby care...
My friend received 2 diaper cakes and she left them rolled up individually and uses them in her diaper bag because they take up less room. Just an idea. Do you have a diaper changing station/table in the nursery? If so you can store them there if there is a drawer or something. A wicker basket may be the best way to go with a cute liner in it. If your diaper changing table has a shelf make sure to get baskets to fit it. Or a basket to fit on top so diapers are handy when changing.

Best wishes, your almost there!
We used the top of a dresser with a changing pad for a change table with our daughter and plan on doing the same again with this baby. This way, we used the top drawer of the dresser for diaper storage, lotions/creams/powders, wipes and sleepers/diaper shirts. The other drawers were for extra clothes, receiving blankets, toys or whatever. We kept all her outfits hanging in the closet. Then we had the diaper Genie in the corner right beside the dresser (there is literally no smell with a diaper genie). EVERYTHING I needed was right at hand and I never had to turn my back on her to get something or take my eyes off her.
